When Estimators Limited started we conducted a Labour Rate Survey of over 4000 small builders across all regions of the UK. The information gathered formed the basis of our labour rate database.

The database is automatically updated by our systems every time an existing trade customer reviews and revises his/her labour rates or a new trade customer submits a labour rate form.

The database provides us with detailed local labour rate information, which enables us to produce accurate estimates for Home Owners, Self Builders and default estimates for Builders and Builders Merchants.

We also monitor regional material prices, so that we can be confident that our estimates are as accurate as possible.

Default Estimate: an estimate that includes default local labour rates; these are automatically used when a trade customer type requests an estimate where specific labour rates are unknown.
